About INCCST

The 5th International Conference on Computational Sciences and Technologies, hosted by MUET Jamshoro and Iqra University.

What the conference is for

The 5th International Conference on Computational Sciences and Technologies (INCCST'27) will take place on 25–27 March 2027 at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, and Iqra University. It provides a global platform for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, government organisations and technology innovators to share research, exchange knowledge and explore emerging technologies.

The conference focuses on computational science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, computer systems, software engineering, cybersecurity, robotics, IoT, high-performance computing and other emerging areas. It welcomes research papers, applied research, project outcomes and industry case studies, with an emphasis on strengthening industry–academia collaboration and innovation.

Theme

The theme of INCCST'27 focuses on emerging computational science and technologies that are shaping intelligent, secure and sustainable digital transformation. The conference welcomes significant theoretical and practical contributions in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Data Science, High-Performance and Distributed Computing, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud and Edge Computing, Robotics, Intelligent Systems, and other emerging areas of Computer Science and Information Technology.

The conference particularly encourages interdisciplinary research that advances computational methods, addresses real-world challenges and contributes to technological innovation and sustainable digital development. The full list of sub-themes is on the call for papers page.

Why it matters

In Pakistan, the conference strengthens collaboration between universities, industry and government and promotes innovative, home-grown technological solutions to local challenges. It gives researchers, students and industry professionals a place to share knowledge and build research collaborations.

Internationally, it supports cross-border research collaboration and the exchange of new solutions in computing and emerging technologies. Research on smart systems, automation, cybersecurity, healthcare, sustainable development and digital transformation is especially encouraged.

Through keynote talks, technical sessions, workshops and research collaboration opportunities, the conference supports capacity building among students, young researchers and faculty members, and raises Pakistan's visibility in the international research community.

Organisers and collaborators

INCCST'27 is organised by the Department of Computer Systems Engineering and the Department of Software Engineering at MUET Jamshoro, together with Iqra University. Collaborating institutions are Iqra University Karachi, the ACM-MUET Chapter and the IEEE-CS-MUET Chapter. See the committees and sponsors and partners pages.

Building on earlier editions

The 4th edition (INCCST'25, 20–22 February 2025) brought national and international researchers, academics, students and industry professionals together. Since then the organising departments have continued academic and research exchange with participating faculty and researchers in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science and cybersecurity. The 5th edition is organised to strengthen those links. Programmes, papers and photographs from earlier conferences are in the past editions archive.
